The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the atmosphere of Idlib and Aleppo witnessed an intensive flight of squadrons of Syrian regime's warplanes and helicopters and Russian jets, in conjunction with its targeting of areas separated by dozens of air strikes since the early morning hours.

The number of raids Russian warplanes launched has reached 73, during which they targeted the places of Atarib and the outskirts of Ainjara, west of Aleppo, Qanater, Kamari, and Arnaz in the southern countryside of Aleppo, Taftanaz and the vicinity of Taftanaz Military Airport, Saraqib, Sarmin, the outskirts of Jericho, Nairab and Binnish in Idlib countryside and Al-Sattumah.

The number of raids increased to 86 during which the regime's warplanes targeted places in the vicinity of Jericho, Sarmin, Saraqib, Nairab, Tal al-Sultan, Ephes, Qumainas and other regions east and southeast of Idlib.

This comes after an escalation between Turkey and the regime forces, where Turkey announced the killing of a number of its soldiers in the shelling of the regime forces in Idlib, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later announced shelling of the regime's sites.
