Refugees in Washokani camp increased due to Turkish attacks' brutal

Thousands of civilians have been displaced from their areas due to the Turkish attack and its mercenaries on the border areas, and Autonomous Administration has allocated more than 64 centers in the city of al-Hasakah to accommodate these displaced people, along with the Wasokani camp 12 km west of the city center.

In spite of the difficult conditions experienced by the camp residents in the winter with the absence of tents, the number of displaced people is increasing day by day, as their number reached 7,400 displaced.

The administrator in Washawkani camp, Salwa Saleh, explained that the number of forcibly displaced people from the areas of Ras- al-Ain and its villages is constantly increasing, and continued, "The number of displaced people reached 1,300 families consisting of 7,400 displaced, and 160 families live in reception camps."

Salwa Saleh pointed out that "the Energy Authority begins its work and seeks to fully illuminate the camp, and the opening of a new school to accommodate the increasing numbers of children who are receiving education in the camp."

The administrator Salwa Saleh indicated that, until now, no international or humanitarian organizations have entered the Washokani camp, and the International Commission has requested intervention and knowledge of the conditions of the displaced in the camp due to the worsening of their conditions during the winter.
