Girê Spî displaced: We are real owners of land, appeal to world to take us back to it

The displaced of Girê Spî demanded in a statement the international community and all the human rights organizations to secure their return to their homes. They  asserted that they were the real owners of the land, and the Turkish occupier unjustly forced them to migrate.

Today, Girê Spî / Tel Abyad displaced  issued a statement calling on the international community to secure their return to their homes.

The statement was read by the displaced Jamal Abdel Salam during a gathering at Girê Spî camp for the displaced, south of Ain Issa district. The statement congratulated the Syrian people in general, and the Christian people in particular on the occasion of coming the Easter.

The statement condemned the international silence on the crimes still practiced continually against the Arabs and Kurds. It also called on the international community and human rights organizations concerned with the  human, children and women’s rights to act to stop the "Ottoman machine of death and hatred."

In their statement, the displaced called on the influential global forces to put pressure on the Turkish occupation and mercenaries to withdraw from all areas of northeastern Syria, for ensuring  the return of the displaced to their homes and villages, and carrying out their works in the land where they had lived for hundreds of years.
