Kobani – Hiza Hassan

The co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Authority, Moro Hussein, in an interview with Hawar News Agency talked about the situation of those displaced by the Turkish aggression in the city of Kobani.

The Autonomous Administration (AA)of the northern and eastern regions of Syria revealed that more than 300,000 have been displaced from the areas of Girê Spi/ Tal Abyad and Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain as a result of the Turkish aggression on the two areas

The residents were displaced due to the ferocious bombardment, killings, and field executions of Turkey and its mercenaries, against the civilian population of the region.

Moro Hussein says that the Social Affairs and Labor Authority in the Euphrates region, in cooperation with 5 humanitarian organizations, provided material and food assistance and winter supplies to the displaced people in Kobani.

He revealed the presence of about 1050 families in the city of Kobani and its countryside, who were displaced from Tel Abyad district, which Turkey occupies.

Moro Hussein explained that the Social Affairs and Labor Authority has allocated for displaced families heating oil for free, and exempted them from paying the electricity and water bill.

He said: They formed a committee to document the crimes and violations committed by the Turkish occupation against the civilians of the region, and appealed to humanitarian organizations to provide support to the displaced people in the region.

The Autonomous Administration cannot provide the full needs of the IDPs with food or material aid, due to the limited capabilities it has.

Hawar News Agency also met the displaced Amina Muslim from the city of Girê Spi who currently lives in Kobani, where she says: "We did not want to leave, but we were forced due to the violent attack launched by Turkey, and for fear of the immoral actions of the groups affiliated with Turkey, and we still see how the situation of Afrin is."

She explained that they are the owners of this land, but that Turkey had displaced them them to accommodate the mercenary families.

"Where are the human rights organizations to hold Erdogan accountable for his criminal actions and violations, why is all this international silence about all these crimes, are they Erdogan's partners?" Asked Amina.

At the end of her speech, Amina Muslim confirmed she will always cling to her land, and expressed confidence that victory will be their ally because they are right.
