Infrastructure in WashoKani camp is under way

In cooperation with the Environment and Municipalities Committee in al-Hasakah canton, the administration of Washo Kani camp started to equip the infrastructure of the camp, in conjunction with the continuous influx of refugees into the camp as a result of the Turkish occupation army attacks on northern and eastern Syria.

The Washokani camp, which was opened by Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria, is located 12 km west of the city of al-Hasakah, which has been established for Zerkan and Serêkaniyê's refugees.

Turkish occupation's brutal attacks and its gangs left behind much destruction on NE, Syria, displacing thousands of the residents from their homes, whose number reached 300,000 displaced, killing 478 civilians, and wounding more than 1,070 others, according to the latest statistics of the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria

The camp administration is working in cooperation with the Environment and Municipalities Committee in the canton of al-Hasakah to equip the camp infrastructure, which included roads and sewage network, main bathroom points, drinking water and field kitchens, as well as the division of the camp according to the absorption capacity in conjunction with the continued arrival of arrivals.

Regarding the work of the administration and the supporters in the preparation of the camp, Al-Jazeera camp management adviser Roghat Ali said, "The process of preparing the infrastructure has started, and all the supplies are provided by AA of the canton of al-Hasakah and the Kurdish Red Crescent, amid the failure of humanitarian organizations so far.
