ISF "regrets" that Russian patrol thrown by stones, Molotov cocktails

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) in the Euphrates region expressed in a statement issued today its regret that a Russian patrol was thrown with stones and Molotov cocktails by a group of angry parents, and confirmed that it would take the necessary measures not to repeat such incidents.

The Internal Security Forces in the Euphrates region issued on Tuesday a statement to the public opinion in which they expressed their regret that a Russian patrol was thrown by stones and Molotov cocktails by residents during a joint patrol on Monday in Kobanê.

The Internal Security Forces said in the statement, "On Monday, 18 November, the joint patrol of Russian forces in the city of Kobanê was subjected to stone-throwing and Molotov cocktails by a group of angry parents, the subjection of the Russian patrol to this incident is  regrettable, and we will take the appropriate action in order not to repeat such incidents."

The statement added, "We are convinced that the Russian forces deployed in the city of Kobanê and the border strip, in accordance with the Sochi Agreement, are a guarantee to bring stability and security in the region."

The Internal Security Forces stressed that their forces in the city of Kobanê and other areas would continue to impose and maintain the law and protect the security and safety of civilians from everybody would shake this stability.
