The Internal Security Forces (ISF) arrested an ISIS cell near al-Salihiyya village north of al-Raqqa city.

The Internal Security Forces published a statement on the social media "Face Book" announcing that a terrorist cell of two people was arrested, and they admitted their belonging to ISIS.

The statement included:

Our forces managed on Sunday, October 27 to arrest a terrorist cell of ISIS organization near al-Salihiyya village north of al-Raqqa.

During the monitoring and follow-up, the General Security of our forces in al-Raqqa city managed to arrest two people who confessed to belonging to the terrorist organization of Daesh and they had the following:

A sum of one million eight hundred and five thousand Syrian pounds

21 mobile phones

A pistol of 8.5 caliber

1 telescope

A hand grenade

5 electronic flashes

A laptop

A car of Hyundai kind

2 ARAL weapons

2 printers

Passports and ID cards

Syrian, Qatari and Iraqi car license plates

Our security forces also continue to pursue and clean up the city of Raqqa from the remnants of terrorism and mercenaries who are targeting the security and stability of the city.

It is worth mentioning that in recent months, our forces have seized a number of terrorist cells that have directly targeted civilians through indiscriminate assassinations and planted explosive devices.
