Afrin residents wonder: What is the guilt of children to be bombed with internationally prohibited weapons?

With the continued attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS on northern and eastern Syria, popular and social reactions against the Turkish occupation continue. Our agency (ANHA) monitored the residents of Afrin in al-Awda camp in al-Ziyara village in Sherawa district.

Abdul Rahman Ibrahim pointed out that the goal of the Turkish occupation is to expand its influence in the region to continue until reaching Iraq amid international silence, stressing his rejection of the Turkish occupation attacks on northern and eastern Syria.

He called on all concerned and international authorities to intervene immediately to stop the Turkish interference in the Syrian territories.

Fatima Osman asked, "What is the guilt of the children, are they the ones who took up arms and attacked the Turkish territory to be bombarded with heavy and internationally prohibited weapons in front of the whole world, amidst a shameful international silence?"

"We, as the people of Afrin, will not accept any occupation of our land and will defend it until the last breath," he said. "The Kurds must rise up against attacks on northern and eastern Syria."

"Everyone knows that whoever supports terrorism is the child killer (Erdogan) in Afrin and northeastern Syria," said Zarifa Abdo, stressing that the resistance of the people in the camps is a confirmation of their determination to return to Afrin.
