ISF: One mercenary killed, others captured who attacked Tuwaymiya village

The ISF's public information center issued a statement saying that their forces were able to counter an attack from a sleeper cell of ISIS mercenaries that attempted to take over a village of Serêkaniyê.

The text read:

In light of the aggressive attacks by the Turkish fascist occupation and the support of mercenaries of the so-called National Army on the towns and villages adjacent to the border with the Turkish occupation, our forces were able to deter an attack by ISIS sleeper cells on Thursday morning, October 10. Where they tried to take control of the village of Tuwaymiya with the aim of hitting security and causing confusion by targeting one of the military points of our forces, that resulted in the killing a number of them and capturing the rest of them, while four of our members were injured varyingly, they were transferred to medical centers in the city of Serêkaniyê for receiving treatment.

We in the ISF we pay tribute sacrifices of SDF against the fascist of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, which attempted to penetrate into the countryside of the city of  Serêkaniyê but we were able to confront them to and killing 5 of them and force them to retreat, and we call upon the brothers citizens to take precautions against such operations by the sleeper cells that work for the fascist occupation of Turkey and the Islamic State terrorist organization, affirming our right to lawful defense of our territory and our people, who made great sacrifices for any aggression targeting our regions. "
