DEIR EZ-ZOR

Residents of the town of Salhiya in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor are demanding the regime they return to the town, where they have been demonstrating for some time.

Today, dozens of residents took part in a demonstration near the town, where the regime refuses to leave.

Residents say the Syrian regime expelled them from their villages and seized their property after taking control and accused the Syrian regime of bringing about demographic change in the villages it controls in Deir Ezzor.

The demonstrators carried banners reading "International trivialities at the expense of our legitimate rights, our peaceful revolution, the most wonderful revolution in history, will be a school for the free of the world, to all honest Syrians, help us, even with a word to retrieve our village, and no to terrorism.”

It was the second demonstration after a demonstration on last Friday.
