SDF arrested terrorist cell in Deir ez-Zor
Counter-Terrorism Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) arrested a cell of ISIS terrorists cell during a raid in al-Sour town of Deir ez-Zor and seized a quantity of weapons and military equipment.
The media center of the SDF issued a statement on its official website regarding the combing operations against the sleeper cells in Deir ez-Zor.
The statement reads as follow:
" Counter-Terrorism Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) arrested on Wednesday 25-9-2019 a terrorist cell during a combing operation in al-Sour Town of Deir ez-Zor countryside, the cell was related to ISIS and was of 6 elements.
The raid operation was implemented according to information obtained on the presence of the cell in al-Sour town.
The units seized a quantity of weapons, equipment's and special closes relating to the ISIS.

- 2 defensive bombs

- 1Pistol
- 2 Special clothing for ISIS
It is worth mentioning that after the checking their phones, it became clear that several contacts with other cells belonging to the terrorist organization.
The cell will be transferred to the competent authorities to take appropriate action against them"
