The leadership of the Joint Forces of the Arab Coalition in Yemen announced on Wednesday the interception and shooting down of a drone fired by the Houthis towards civilian objects in the city of Najran.

The Saudi air defenses have intercepted last week, three ballistic missiles in the skies of Najran, fired by the Houthis, according to the sources "Arab".

The spokesman for the forces of the Alliance for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki al-Maliki, has repeatedly stressed that "the Houthi militia attempts to launch drones are doomed to failure, especially as the coalition takes all operational procedures, and the best means to deal with those aircraft to protect civilians and civilian objects."

He also stressed that "these repeated terrorist attempts by the Houthis come as a result of significant losses among its members, equipment, and through military operations carried out by the coalition," stressing "the continued leadership of the coalition forces to implement the deterrent measures against these militias to neutralize and destroy those capabilities strictly, in consistence with international humanitarian law and its customary rules."
