Al-Raqqa clans: Turkey is incubator to mercenaries, Afrin is an integral part of Syria
The elders and dignitaries of the city of al-Raqqa considered that the presence of the Turkish occupation in Syrian territory is illegal and considered it an attack on the sanctity of the neighborhood, and stressed that the tribesmen will stand before any aggression on the Syrian territories, because Afrin is an integral part of Syria.

The Turkish occupation continues its occupational violations against the Syrian territory through the construction of the partition wall in Afrin, which aims at dividing the Syrian lands and annexing Afrin to its territory, amid a clear international silence despite the rejection of this wall by residents, sheikhs and tribal notables in northern and eastern Syria.
In this context, Hawar News Agency met with elders and tribal dignitaries in the city of al-Raqqa, who explained that Turkey was the main incubator of all mercenaries who entered Syria, including Daesh mercenaries.
Sheikh Mohammed Turki al-Suwaan, sheikh of the Sabkha clan, said that the aim of the construction of the wall, which is being built by the Turkish occupation state, is to annex new areas of Syria to Turkey through illegal acts, as it did in Iskenderun.
"Erdogan was the one who opened the borders of his country to terrorist groups to practice terrorism in the region." Turkey was the main supporter of all factions that entered Syria, including Daesh mercenaries." he said.
"The occupation is not a new disease, but it is deep-rooted for hundreds of years and it is attacking areas other than its regions and legitimizes occupying like Iskenderun and today it has occupied more than an area in Syria, such as Afrin, Jarablus and al-Bab."
Muhamad Omar, sheikh of Amour clan said that the partition wall that Turkey is building is a "violation" of the Syrian people and the sovereignty of Syrian land.
He added that since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Turkey had supported mercenaries for its colonial interests. "Turkey has not been a helping hand to the Syrian people since the outbreak of the Syrian revolution, contrarily, it has created strife between the peoples of the region." he said.
For his part, sheikh Mohammed Omar called on the international community and the Security Council to listen to the demands of the Syrian people whose lands are occupied before their eyes as well as the world.
The sheikhs of clans noted that Afrin is an integral part of Syria and will not allow the Turkish occupation to complete the occupation project in Syria assuring they reject it.
