IS demanded to surrender, go to Idlib SDF rejected

IS mercenaries demanded to surrender to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in exchange for opening a corridor for them to exit the encircled areas where they are existed in the east of the Euphrates to Idlib area and then to Turkey, while SDF refused their demand.

The Syrian Democratic Forces continue to advance within the last stage of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign "the battle to defeat terrorism" which they launched to eradicate IS mercenaries in their last strongholds in Deir ez-Zor.

With the ongoing progress and the liberation of villages and towns from the mercenaries in addition to encircling who have been remained of IS mercenaries in an area of 6 km2, ANHA correspondent who is keeping up with the campaign noted that the encircled IS mercenaries demanded to surrender to SDF in exchange for allowing them to exit, and opening corridors for them to head towards Idlib and Turkey.

The reporter said that SDF refused the demand. The mercenaries have stayed in small areas in Baguz al-Foqani village, and they use the civilians as human shields to obstacle SDF fighters' progress.
