Afrin's DAA renewed covenant to continue struggle

On the 5th anniversary of the declaration of the DAA in Afrin canton that marks January 29th, 2014, the Executive Council released a written statement to the public opinion in which it assured the continuation of the struggle till Afrin would be liberated and prosperity would be achieved.

The statement included,

Afrin, the land of olives, the symbol of good and peace experienced the Democratic Autonomous Administration through managing itself by itself. Furthermore, we salute the DAA 5th announcement.

In spite of the political and military encirclement, this Administration that managed to make of Afrin a safe refuge for whoever fled the internal conflict in Syria towards it, believing in the peoples' fraternity applied there in addition to achieving good economic growth's rates comparing to the crisis' circumstances that made it a direct target of the Turkish state and its mercenaries that fear the successfulness of democratic experiences on the border.

In the beginning of 2018, the Turkish state and its mercenaries attacked Afrin with all potentials using all kinds of sophisticated weapons, and they caused the displacement of thousands of its people in the result of the forcible displacement towards al-Shahba areas that were a partner in the DAA achievements in Afrin by fighting and defeating terrorism and liberating some areas.

While the people that achieved all those gains in participation with their Autonomous Administration in Afrin provided confidence to the Administration again in the displacement areas on the basis of Afrin Liberation Conference's resolutions which in turn accepted that task and renewed the promise to continue the struggle with the people to liberate Afrin and achieve advance.
