The Civil Society and Development Studies Organization held on Saturday a dialogue forum in Dêrik city about the civil peace and the challenges facing the northern and eastern regions of Syria in Zozana complex in the city.

IMPACT held a dialogue forum in Dêrik city in Qamişlo canton, and experts in Law, activists, Syrian workers in the general affairs, representatives of Kurdistan National Conference – Rojava and a number of Kurdish parties' members; the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party and the Unity Party, in addition to the Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Center attended the forum.

The participants discussed five main themes which are the recent international and regional developments related to the future of north-east Syria, the local dialogue (Kurdish-Kurdish and Kurdish-Arab), forming a practical framework to support the civil peace, the economic and developmental challenges and opportunities, and the application of principles of good governance, transparency, hatred speech and media's role.

In this context, Hawar news agency held an interview with the manager of IMPACT Organization in north and east Syria Aziz Kares, and he said, "Our goal of this forum is to end the differences among the Kurdish parties, reach a solution that will serve the Kurdish people and represent the Kurdish Cause in international forums, especially after the Turkish threats to north and east Syria after the statements of the US administration to withdraw its troops from the region."

On his part, the member KNK - Rojava Suleiman Elias confirmed that this forum is a good step to unify the Kurdish rank to be a unified speech, especially in the light of the Turkish threats against the region and holding meetings and dialogues among the Kurdish parties in the service and interest of the Kurdish people.
