On Saturday, a seminar was held by the Syrian Dialogue Forum under the title "The Current Political and Military Situation and the Next Stage" at the Industrial Secondary Theater in Manbij city in north Syria.

The seminar was managed by the member of the Executive Board of the Syrian Democratic Council Hassen Mohamed Ali and the spokesman on behalf of Manbij Military Council Shervan Darwish.

The forum started with the speech of Hassen Mohammed Ali as he said, "The Syrian crisis is still going on in the absence of a real project proposed by the regional or international countries involved in the Syrian crisis."

Hassen Mohammed Ali continued, "At the beginning of the crisis, we chose the third line. This has achieved great successes, enabling the self-reliance and liberating Syrian regions from the mercenaries. This motivated the countries to form an alliance against IS and provide air support. We did everything possible to find radical solutions to the Syrian crisis away from the external interference, and basing on what guarantees the unity of Syrian territories."

Hassen pointed out in his speech that the Syrian Democratic Council continues to rely on itself and seek to find mechanisms to reach a solution that satisfies all the Syrian parties. The Syrian Democratic Council is trying through dialogue and peaceful solutions to work with most of the parties of the Syrian crisis.

As for the internal dialogue in Syria, Hassen said that MSD is open to dialogue, and not linked to any external agendas.

Manbij is safe with MMC's existence

Shervan Derwish talked and touched upon the American withdrawal, "The situation in Manbij has not changed, it has not witnessed any change. The military situation is under control, and there is coordination between us, the International Coalition, Russia and the Syrian regime."

Shervan Darwish added, "MMC is protecting Manbij against any attacks and Manbij is safe with the council's existence." He added, "We are preparing for the next stages, the American decision did not affect our forces."

At the end of the seminar, the participants stressed the importance of discussing how to find a mechanism that could help in resolving the crisis and reducing the external interference in the area away from new battles.
