Qinê people: We pledged to resist

On Saturday, Kongra star organized a march to condemn the isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and in solidarity with the parliamentarian Leyla Guven and Nasir Yagiz's hunger strike, demanding to end the isolation on Ocalan under the slogan, "We Will Break Imrali's Regime, and Live Freely with the Leader."

Hundreds of the people of the district, the district's institutions and the political parties participated in the march raising the flags of the People Protection Units (YPG) and Women Protection Units (YPJ), Leyla Guven and Nasir Yagiz's pictures in addition to banners with "Liberate the Leader" written on.

The march started from Hamdash square in the district and toured the streets to stop at one of the district's squares as the people chanted the slogans that condemn the isolation and salute Leyla Guven and Nasir Yagiz's resistance.

After the march stopped, the member of Kongra Star Coordination in Kobanî Almaz Romi talked and saluted Leyla Guven's resistance, and she added, "We, as Kongra Star, condemn the isolation imposed on Ocalan. The Turkish state arrest whoever talks about freedom. Today, all women have to revolt. We pledged to not abandon the resistance till Ocalan's freedom is achieved."

The administrator in the Democratic Union Party's Council in Qinê district Kawther Suleiman said, "We salute the resistance of all detainees who went on the hunger strike. We see the revolution's spark in the personality of Leyla Guven and Nasir Yagiz. We are not deceived by the Turkish state's tricks because we have been introduced to Ocalan's philosophy."

Furthermore, the march ended with chanting the slogans that salute Ocalan and all the detainees' resistance.
