Syrian regime arrested residents  of Zorava , prevented them from demonstrating to denounce isolation

The Syrian regime forces arrested five people from Zorava neighborhood in Damascus, including two children, during preparations by residents of the neighborhood to protest against the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan in the prisons of the Turkish occupation. While the neighborhood is witnessing an alert amid the sit-in in the neighborhood square demanding the release of detainees.

Hawar News Agency reporter in Damascus reported that the forces of the regime surrounded Zorava neighborhood in Damascus where the people of the neighborhood of Kurdish majority in Damascus, were preparing to hold a demonstration today to denounce the isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan in solidarity with Leyla Guven who went in hunger strike  since 79 days in the prisons of the Turkish occupation.

The correspondent of ANHA agency in Damascus said that the forces of the Syrian regime brought large numbers of security elements and surrounded the neighborhood to prevent the demonstration, after they arrested on Thursday night five people, including two children, namely the co-chair of the neighborhood council and two members of the neighborhood and two children from the Culture Center And art in Zorava neighborhood.

The correspondent stressed that the neighborhood is currently witnessing a public outcry and anger against the practices of the regime forces. Hundreds of residents gathered in the Martyrs Square in the center of the neighborhood demanding the release of the detainees and allowing the demonstration to take place while the Security Forces surrounded the demonstrators and still bring additional members of the Security Forces to the neighborhood.
