Abdullah al-Madhi: the situation in al-Mansoura is stable

The official spokesperson of Reconciliation Council in al-Tabqa area Abdulah al-Madhi said that, riots were being deliberately fabricated by some persons in al-Mansoura town, and the city is witnessing stable situation, after the events had occurred on Wednesday evening.

Al-Mansoura city located southeast al-Tabqa area had witnessed riots events on Wednesday evening.

Internal Security Forces (ISF) in al-Tabqa circulated on Facebook page " Al-Mansoura town belonging to al-Tabqa area had witnessed riots on Wednesday morning, 23 Jan, 2019, at 12 noon, when ISF were carrying out their regular duties, on the checkpoint, one person did not obey their orders, so elements at the checkpoint shot fire towards the driver causing his death directly.

And added: Al-Madhi said: "those who took to the streets on Wednesday evening and spread riots events they have no relationship with the person who was killed, anonymous persons did that and they have strong relationship with external agendas.

Al-Mansoura town is close to the area under control the Syrian regime

Al-Madhi has confirmed Al-Bokhmis clan has no relationship in the riots but there are people want to sow discord between the components in the area.

Curfew was imposed in al-Mansoura town by ISF, since midnight last night for 72 hours in order to maintain security and stability in the area.
