Al-Shahba, Afrin people: We demand flight ban over our areas

During the martyr Oweish Shehab's condolence ceremony, the people of Afrin and al-Shahba demanded an air embargo over the areas of north and east Syria, assuring that they will not allow the Turkish occupation state to revive the Ottoman Empire in their areas.

AL-SHAHBA

On Wednesday, thousands of al-Shahba and Afrin people flocked towards the condolence tent of the member of Women Asayîş Forces form the Arab component Oweish Shehab who martyred because of a heart attack in Aleppo city's hospitals on January 20th to express condolence to the martyr's family.

The Martyrs' Families Council organized the condolence ceremony, and the tent was set up in front of the house of the struggler Oweish's brother in Fafin district in al-Shahba canton.

The condolence's tent was ornamented by the pictures of the Resistance of the Age's martyrs, the martyr Oweish and the pictures of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The ceremony started with holding a minute of silence. Then, several speeches were delivered by the two members of the Martyrs' Families Council Mohammed Wello and Zakiyya Abdul Monem, a speech of the member in Ahras Council Rashid Mohammed and by the member of al-Shahba Council Zahra Kalo.

The speeches offered condolence to the martyr's family, describing the martyrs as beacons of enlightenment that direct the peoples to the peace and freedom's way.

The speeches touched upon the victories achieved by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in north and east of Syria to eliminate IS mercenaries in their last strongholds, condemning the Turkish threats against the liberated areas, calling for the international community and the United Nations to work on imposing a flight ban on the areas of north and east of Syria to protect them from the Turkish threats, confirming that they will not abandon their land as they will continue resistance till Afrin liberation is achieved, and they will not allow the Turkish occupation state to revive the Ottoman Empire in their areas.

After that, the martyr's Oweish's document was read and handed over to her family.

The condolence ceremony ended with chanting the slogans that salute the martyrs and the Resistance of the Age.
