Turkey turned Afrin into corruption center

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries turned the occupied territories in the north and east of Syria to the centers of corruption, murder and kidnapping after they were safe, and thus the occupation shows its real image to the world in light of its ongoing violations against the people of Afrin.

In this regard, Hawar news agency conducted an interview with the intellectuals of the city of al-Hasakah who stressed that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries aim at changing the demographics of the region through their practices.

The member of the Intellectuals' Union in al-Hasakah city Ahmed Hesso said, "The Turkish state always has plans to thwart the democratic project in northern and eastern Syria, and the great example is what happened in Afrin, al-Bab and Jarablus of corruption, destruction and killing of its people after the areas were safe and stable.

Hesso pointed out that the people of Afrin complain about the practices of the Turkish occupation against them, while the Turkish media tries to hide these practices, and does not allow any media institution to enter Afrin except the media institutions that belong to it and its mercenaries.

He added that Erdogan  wants to occupy other lands in the north and east of Syria to commit more crimes against its people, to commit inhuman massacres and to eliminate its people, and his threats target all components, not only the Kurdish component."

The writer and member of the Intellectual Union in al-Hasakah city Azher Ahmed said, "Afrin was exposed to many violations by the Turkish occupation state, and thousands of olive trees were cut. Today, Erdogan wants to repeat those acts in others areas of north and east Syria."
