Rojava's areas celebrating meeting with Ocalan

The towns, districts and towns of Rojava witnessed the celebrations and the departure of the people in motorcades celebrating the meeting of the brother of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan with him in Imrali prison after 3 years of strict isolation.

The brother of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan met him three years after his last visit to the island of Imrali.

Pervîn Buldan, the co-chair of the Democratic People's Party said on her Twitter account, "Today, Mr. Mohammed Ocalan met with Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali. We assure our people that the leader Abdullah Ocalan's health status is good.

Buldan said that more information would be disclosed later.

After years of not knowing about the health of Ocalan, the districts, towns and villages of Rojava witnessed celebrations and marches, where the people raised the pictures of Ocalan.

It is worth mentioning that Turkey has been isolating Ocalan since years. Many cities in Kurdistan and dozens of European capitals witness almost daily demonstrations denouncing the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and on the Kurdish political commanders in the Turkish prisons, most notably the parliamentarian Leyla Guven who has been on hunger strike for more than two months and entered in a state of coma on Saturday.
