Youth participate in sit-in against occupation, emphasize escalation of resistance

Youth of Qamishlo participated in the event of the sit-in in Serê Kanîyê city on the border, expressed their rejection of the Turkish threats, and stressed that the resistance will continue against the Turkish threats.

The people of the north and east of Syria have been carrying out a sit-in since 14 days in Serê Kanîyê district in al-Hasakah canton in northern Syria against the Turkish threats, where they stand as human shields in front of the Turkish occupation. Today, dozens of young people from Qamishlo have participated in the sit-in and stressed that the resistance will continue.

At the event, Syed Mohammed spoke on behalf of Qamişlo Canton Council and said that the youth of northern and eastern Syria must continue to resist the Turkish occupation and added, "We must follow the path of the martyrs and achieve their goals."

Fathallah Hesso, the member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria said, "We are resisting the Turkish occupation. We must trust ourselves, and we are confident in our project which introduced a new idea about the system of the regions' management. Our project is based on the peoples' fraternity, and no one can strike the peoples' fraternity."

It is worth mentioning that the activity is still continuing.
