'Whoever met in Azaz represent only themselves, we must stand together against occupation'

Al-Ali explained that all the people of the region are believers in the unity of the Syrian territories and refuse the division, as some claim.

The Sheikh of Hatem al-Tai clan, Ali al-Ali, said during an interview with ANHA agency to clarify the position of the tribes towards the Turkish hostile threats that it is launching against northern and eastern Syria.

The Turkish President Recep Teyyip Erdogan said on the 12th of this month that they are preparing to launch a military operation to occupy the areas of the north and east of Syria.

In this context, Sheikh Ali stressed that all Arab tribes and components in the north and east of Syria reject any aggression on their regions that would undermine their security and stability.

He added that all the people of the region of Arabs, Kurds and Syriacs are clinging to their lands and its territorial integrity, and they are ready to defend them against any aggression from any side, calling on all the people of the region to stand against these threats and not to bow to them.

Al-Ali pointed out that the northern and eastern regions of Syria rely on their sons from Syrian Democratic Forces to repel the foreign ambitions embedded in the country's wealth. He pointed out that they resisted the terrorist attacks against their areas before the coalition came to fight them.

Sheikh Ali confirmed the unity of the Syrian land and people, rejecting the rumors promoted by some of the agents that encourage the separation of the regions of northern and eastern Syria from Syria.

The Sheikh commented at the end of his speech that whoever live in the land of northern and eastern Syria and sacrifice their blood to defend it is the decision maker, referring to the elders who met with Turkey in Azaz city to legislate aggression, pointing out that these sheikhs represent only themselves.
