Women village(JIN WAR) opened its doors officially

Today, November 25 marks the World Day for Combating Violence against Women. Two years after the establishment of a women's village in al-Jazeera region, JIN WAR(meaning women’s dwelling in Kurdish) village opened its doors to women in a ceremony held in the village.

Hundreds of women from all the cities and regions of al-Jazeera and the Euphrates region attended the opening ceremony of the village, as well as the participation of fighters from Women's Protection Units, women members of the Internal Security Forces and civil institutions in al-Jazeera region.

The opening of the village began with the opening of the main door of the village by the participants.

Then the administrator in the Construction Committee Rumat Heval spoke and said "Today is the World Day for Combating Violence against Women and this day is a special day because it is a day that expresses the resistance and struggle of women. Today we announce the opening of the village of women two years after its establishment to affirm that women are able to manage themselves and rely on itself in everything."

She continued: The idea of establishing the village " JIN WAR " is one of the ideas of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and all the victories achieved by women are thanks to his thought and philosophy.

In her turn the spokeswoman of Kongra Star Avin Sewed said, "Today, the work we have done is passing through our imagination and we are very happy that we are part of the plan to create JIN WAR."

In turn, women living in the village thanked the Construction Committee and offered the committee a commemorative shield to express their gratitude for the establishment of the village for women.

Afterwards, the women toured the village and opened the centers in the village, which includes the Mother Emm Awish School, JIN WAR Academy, the museum and the health Clinic.

Then a celebration was held in which women danced on the impact of Kurdish and Arab songs.
