The frequency of Turkish attacks and mercenaries on the northern villages of Manbij appears to have increased after the start of joint Turkish-US patrols on the contact lines in the Sajour River front separating the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.

The coalition forces began earlier this month to conduct joint patrols with Turkey in the areas of separation.

So far two joint patrols have been launched, the last one was 2 days ago.

Manbij city witnessed yesterday in daylight the firing of machine guns of mercenaries on civilians while they were harvesting olives in Hamran village in the north east of Manbij, and last night, Sajuor front witnessed clashes after the Turkish mercenaries tried to infiltrate the points of Manbij Military the Council in Awn al-Dadat north of the city, a fighter of Manbij Military Council Ahmed al-Muhammad from the people Manbij city said about the clashes that took place last night: "We detected infiltration by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation towards our points of concentration and thwarted their attempt, and the points are located about 1 km from our points of concentration, the clashes started at 10 :00 yesterday evening and lasted till morning intermittently, and the clashes spread to 3 adjacent points where they targeted our points by the heavy weapons."

He also confirmed that they responded to the attack of mercenaries yesterday without injuries in their ranks, and added: "Yesterday we responded the enemy infiltrate by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation here on the line of Sajour in Awn al-Dadat, in recent days the attacks increased, the joint patrols did not bear fruit. "

Shahin Sheikh Mohammed said that the attacks affect the homes of civilians in Awn al-Dadat village and neighboring villages, and concluded by addressing the people of Manbij, "We here as the forces of Manbij Military Council steadfast and will not allow any enemy to enter Manbij."
