The Defense Committee in Manbij denounces world silence over Turkish attacks

The Defense Committee in the city of Manbij issued a statement today, during, a ceremony marking the anniversary of the founding of the Self-Defense Forces. The statement was read by a member of the Self-Defense Committee Ahmed al-Qasim, in a gathering of administrators and members of the Defense Committee in front of the committee building.

The text of the statement:

"In light of the political and military developments in the regional arena in general and Syria in particular, the Turkish state and the Justice and Development Party, led by the biggest terrorist Erdogan, continue to attack our lands and kill our children, women and children without any justification to defend his brothers and mercenaries.”

“We condemn and denounce the actions of Erdogan, his mercenaries and all those who support them. We will continue, through our right to legitimate defense, to defend our soil, which is watered by the blood of our martyrs and of our people in all components.”

“Let everyone know that we are walking on the line of our martyrs because they are our leaders. We derive the spirit of resistance and struggle from the fraternity of the peoples who have lived on this land for thousands of years.”

Long live free, democratic Syria, mercy for our righteous martyrs, and the speedy recovery of our wounded, dignity and pride for our people."
