Deir ez-Zor people bid farewell 4 martyrs

The residents of Deir ez-Zor countryside bid farewell with a solemn procession the corpses of 4 martyrs from al-Baguz village who participated in the battle to defeat terrorism to liberate their area from IS mercenaries to their last resting place in the Martyr Hani al-Hassen Cemetery.

DEIR EZ-ZOR

A mass of residents from al-Basira town and al-Baguz village in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, the Martyrs’ Families Council in Deir ez-Zor, fighters and commanders in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a delegation of the Future Syria Party and representatives of the Civil Council in Deir ez-Zor participated in the ceremonies.

The mourners received the corpses of the four martyrs whose names are Qeisar, the real name is Ali Kheleif al-Shaban, Saleh whose real name is Abdel Sattar al-Dawi, Salar whose real name is Sa’ed Khalaf al-Abdullah and Tofan whose real name is Salem Khalaf al-Abdullah. The martyrs martyred during their participation in the battle to defeat terrorism in the axis of al-Baguz village while they were repelling IS mercenaries. Moreover, the four martyrs are from al-Baguz village.               

The martyrs’ procession headed towards the Martyr Hani al-Hassen Cemetery raising the martyrs’ pictures and SDF flags by the mourners.

As the mourners reached the Cemetery, they held a minute of silence amid performing a military parade by the fighters of SDF. After that, several speeches were delivered, including the speech of Firas Ali on behalf of SDF as he expressed condolences to the martyrs’ families and said, “We bow in tribute to the martyrs’ pure souls as by virtue of their sacrifices and resistance, our areas have been liberated from terrorism, and life returned back to our land and people. We pledge the martyrs to continue their struggle till all our lands would be liberated from the mercenaries.

In addition, a speech on behalf of the Martyrs’ Families Council was delivered by the administrator Wisal Hezza’ and she said, “The martyrs are those who sacrificed their life for the sake of our freedom and dignity so we renew our covenant to them to preserve their achievements.”

Then, speeches was delivered on behalf of the Future Syria Party and the Civil Council of Deir ez-Zor as they offered condolences to the martyrs’ families and saluted the resistance shown by SDF for the sake of liberating the area from the mercenaries.

After that, the martyrs’ documents were read and handed over to their families by the administrator in the Martyrs’ Families Institution Wafa al-Jalal. Then, the corpses of the martyrs were buried amid the slogans that glorify the martyrs and the martyrdom.
