Within the works and service projects operated by the People's Municipality in Manbij to implement, it started on the first of October to open the Omar Hijo Secondary School, located east of the city. The road extends from "Al-Bazaar area" to al-Jazeera Road.

The length of the road is one kilometer and the width of 20 meters, municipal officials said the work on the road will take 45 days and will pass through stages.

The project is considered one of the most important projects of the municipality, as it connects between al-Bazaar road and al-Jazeera road, at a cost of about 16 million Syrian pounds.

The road serves the largest segment of the population, as there is no sub-road in the project area to facilitate the movement of the people.

The co-chair of the People's Municipality in Manbij Qasim Aboud said that the project came in response to the demands of the people, because al-Jazeera road lacks reforms and sanitation, and the opening of the road was to facilitate the movement of the people.

Qasim Aboud pointed out that after the completion of the road there will be repairs and opening other roads such as al-Hazawna lane, and the path of the Sharia line.
