Aisha Hesso: Conspiracy targeted Ocalan’s democratic ideas

PYD held a meeting in the hall of the Cultural Center in Tel Hamis district. Hundreds of the residents of the district, the clans’ notables in the area, the co-chair of the party Aisha Hesso and the administrators and members of the party attended the meeting.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence. After which, the co-chair of PYD Aisha Hesso discussed the latest political developments in the Middle East in general and Syria in particular.

Aisha said, “It has been made clear that the sanctions that were imposed on Iran about the nuclear file was a European policy to strike the Iranian presence and exit it from the Syrian arena, and everyone tries to limit the role of the other’s in Syria.”

About what is going in Idlib Aisha said, “Turkey and Russia have agreed on Idlib and the mercenaries present there. This agreement is against the Syrian people and the security and stability of Syria because Russia and Turkey aim to protect their interests only.”

Aisha Hesso also noted that Turkey's occupation of the Syrian territories is illegal and the Syrian people must unite and struggle to end the occupation.

Aisha Hesso confirmed that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are fighting the last battle against IS mercenaries, and that IS mercenaries are about to be ended the in the northern and eastern of Syria.

In another context, the co-chair of PYD explained that the international conspiracy against Abdullah Ocalan targeted his democratic ideas. Aisha Hesso also pointed out that the plot failed because the peoples of northern and eastern Syria adopted the philosophy of the democratic nation that was posed by the leader Ocalan.

After Aisha Hesso ended her speech, the way was opened for the audience to ask questions regarding the recent developments in the north and east of Syria and they were answered by the co-chair of PYD Aisha Hesso.
