He fled from Afrin to al-Shahba

Since Turkey and its mercenaries’ occupation of Afrin canton, they have been carrying out inhumane and terrorist acts against the inhabitants; robbery, killing, looting and kidnapping in addition to the burning of agricultural lands and trees and other violations.

In this context, ANHA correspondents interviewed the citizen L.F from Afrin canton who arrived 3 days ago at Serdem camp in the areas of al-Shahba. He said, "After we left Afrin to the areas of al- Shahba in the result of the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on us, I have stayed with my wife in al-Shahba for about a month and a half and then, with the motivation of the attachment to our land in Afrin and the allegations that we have heard on the social media outlets that Afrin has become a paradise, we decided to go to Afrin."

L.F continued, "After our return to Afrin, we have seen what we did not expect. We saw the destruction that Afrin was exposed to. All houses and shops were empty of their objects have been stolen by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries. When I arrived at my house, I saw that my tractor and the electricity generator that were in my house had been stolen, and all we had heard about Afrin was false. The fact is that life in Afrin has become hell after being occupied by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

L.F pointed out that the Turkish occupation army has imposed its laws on the people, and that they are forbidden to go to their agricultural lands and olive groves except with its permission. In most cases, the Turkish occupation army does not give the permission to go without any reasons. Even when you want to go to visit your relatives in the neighboring villages, you require an approval, and many of these inhuman laws are applied by the Turkish occupation army to the people of Afrin.

"The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army carried out several attacks and raids against my house, and on one occasion, they robbed all our properties and money," he said.

L.F confirmed that he has no longer tolerated that life that is like a hell, and felt alienated in his homeland so he decided to get out of Afrin and come to the areas of al-Shahba so that they can live in dignity and continue resisting alongside the people of Afrin till the liberation of Afrin from the terrorists. He added, "I walked two days on feet and I am 50 years old from Afrin until I reached al-Shahba areas. I am now living with my son in Serdem camp."

"The people who are affected by the allegations promoted on social media and want to go to Afrin, you have to be strong and not affected by these things because they are deceiving you. You have to stay here and continue resisting until the liberation of Afrin from those terrorists,.L.F concluded "
