KPCD-JIN: Turkish acts would not deter us from resistance

This came during a statement issued by the Education Committee for Women in the Democratic Society of North Syria after the end of its first conference which was held at Rojava University in Qamishlo city.

The statement was read by the teacher Jinda Hami which said:

"We condemn and denounce the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, noting that the Turkish state is practicing all oppressive methods to end the existence of the Kurdish people in the personality of the leader Abdullah Ocalan so that it prevent the visit of his family and lawyers to him. We call on Human Rights organizations to stop silence about what the leader Abdullah Ocalan is exposed to, and we demand to lift the isolation and release him.

We will continue our struggle until consolidating the democratic nation's principle and liberating the leader Abdullah Ocalan from the prisons of fascism because his thought and philosophy have become a platform for all the people calling for freedom of their will to get rid of the authoritarian mentality.

The Turkish occupation follows its oppressive policy against the peoples of the area amid the international silence. The massacres committed by IS mercenaries against the Yazidi people in Şengal are repeated by the mercenaries of Erdogan today in Afrin.

Despite all the practices and acts of Turkish occupation against the people of northern Syria and its continued isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, this will not deter us from the resistance until we liberate the leader Abdullah Ocalan and end the Turkish occupation in the area.
