Demo in Afrin after 100 citizens kidnapped

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue committing violations against Afrin people as they began kidnaping the civilians widely in Afrin canton, especially its center after the last bombings that took place in the city as more than 100 citizens were kidnaped and accordingly, the city witnessed the demonstrations which refused those violations.

A source from the prison of al-Karama School that preferred to remain anonymous reported that a large number of the kidnaped over 100 persons arrived at the prison, and their ages range from 18 to 60 years, in addition to kidnapping a number of taxi drivers who were present near the site of the explosions in Afrin in the past two days.

The source also reported that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries practice the most severe torture against those kidnapped people, while some of them have been released after receiving huge amounts of ransom at least $ 1,500.

Within the city, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are conducting intensive patrols in the center of the city and in al-Ashrafia neighborhood in particular as the elements of the occupation army and its mercenaries raided a number of homes, searched them and confiscated many vehicles under false pretexts; they were parked near the site of the explosions.

In response to these violations, the residents of al-Ashrafia neighborhood marched hand in hand in a demonstration against the practices of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against Afrin people.
