Clans’ notables to Erdogan: our regions are safe; we reject occupiers

Clans’ notables have made clear their attitudes on the Turkish threats and attacks on their regions, in an interview held Hawar news agency, as they emphasized on cohesion to face any threat that target the Syrian north regions. 

Ali al-Hamid, one of the notables of Bou Asaf clan said, “We have been living in prosperity envied by all Syrian governates since we enjoy security and peace in the presence of Syrian Democratic Forces and the Asayîş forces.”

Al-Hamidi commenting on the Turkish president’s threats to launch attack on north Syria, “The leader Abdullah Ocelan once said ‘Great people, do follow my path, but follow martyrs’, we are actually all ready to make sacrifices, and would not permit any invader or aggressor to invade our land whatever happens.”

Fawaz al-Armiya, one of the region’s notables said, “We are living in paradise on the Syrian land.”

Al-Armiya said, “We Syrians do not discriminate, we will liberate all Syrian territories east and west, north and south by our youth’s strength from all terrorists.”

Addressing Erdogan, he said, “Do not rejoice, our country is dear to our hearts, do not rejoice as you cannot create strife among the co-existing components, as long as there are fighters on the Syrian land, we would not leave it.”
Ismail Idan, a notable of the region said, “The situation is good, Erdogan must stop attempting to stir seditions among the people.”

Idan went on, “Everything is available here, security and protection, and all peoples coexist and defend their land.”
