Videoed ... Scenes hold breath of floods , destruction effects in Kobanî

Several areas west of Kobanî city witnessed floods and overflows that swept most of these villages as a result of the heavy rain that hit the city in the evening. Two civilians were killed and two people were injured.

The video was filmed by local residents in al-Qunayya town, west of Kobanî canton, when the floods swept through the town, destroying several houses and destroying the main road on the southern entrance to the town.

The rains, which have been raging for nearly two hours, caused a total power outage in the canton, along with a breakdown in communications networks and the Internet.

A reporter for Hawar news agency, visited the villages damaged by the floods of Kobanî countryside and took a number of photos showing the terrible destruction caused by the torrential floods.

On May 12, dozens of homes in the western neighborhood of Bhutan were destroyed and tens of other houses and agricultural fields were damaged. The losses were estimated at more than 500 million SP. The most violent in the canton's history.
