Tal Hamis , Sheikh Maqsoud people commemorated their martyrs

Tal Hamis district people related to Qamişlo canton commemorated their martyrs on the occasion of Martyrs' Day which marks May 18, in a variety of activities, including visits to martyrs' shrines, a meeting and theater performances. Martyrs Families Council in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo commemorated the martyrs of May during a meeting, stressing that history witnessed the sacrifices and resistance of the Kurdish people to defend the area against the enemies.

This afternoon, dozens of Tal Hamis people and martyrs families went to the shrine of the martyr "Ragheb al-Attiyah" in Salhiya village, on the occasion of the Martyrs Day, to visit the shrines of their martyrs to commemorate them.
Among the visitors were the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF). In the shrine, the fighters presented a military parade, and then the martyrs' families and their comrades planted flowers on their graves amid chanting the slogans which saluted the martyrs.

On the anniversary of Martyrs 'Day, May 18, Martyrs Families Council in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo organized a meeting in Sheikh Maqsoud Hall attended by dozens of martyrs' families and members of the civil institutions in the neighborhood.
The hall was decorated with pictures of martyrs of the Resistance of the Age, pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and the flags of People and Women Protection Units and flags of Martyrs Families.
The meeting began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs 'lives. A number of speeches were delivered, including the administrator speech in the Council of Martyrs' Families Dilan Lezgin, the speech of the commander of the People's Protection Units Aso Peaks, the speech of the co-chair of Democratic Society Movement Mohammad Sheikho who congratulated the families of the martyrs and Ocalan this blessed day.
The speeches referred to the importance of the month of May, called the month of martyrs, noting that the sacrifices of martyrs will win the oppressed peoples, stressing that the status of martyrs firmly rooted in history and conscience of peoples and nations.
They noted that the achievements that took place in Rojava and northern Syria are thanks to the struggle fighters from the People and Women Protection Units and their response to the attacks of mercenaries and occupiers.
The speeches concluded by renewing the covenant to follow the path of the martyrs until the liberation of all the peoples of the region from mercenaries and occupiers.
