Refugees leave areas dominated by Baathist regime toward al-Karama

Thousands of families have been displaced from Ba'athist regime -dominated areas south of the Euphrates Riverand headed to wrad al-Karama area belonging to al-Raqqa city , due to the thefts taking place there, and officials in the region appealed to the organizations to provide assistance.

After liberating al-Karama areas from grip of Islamic State 's gangs (IS)of by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and later handed over to Internal Security Forces, which in turn initiated the deployment of security and prevent cases of theft and chaos in the region, thousands of families were displaced from areas dominated by Baathist forces .

According to displaced families, North Syria areas , liberated by Syria Democratic Forces (SDF), is the safest.

For his part, the Co-chair of al-Hamrat Council belonging to al-Karama area Darwish al-Habal said that the areas dominted by Ba'athist forces are chaotic, robbed and looted. "So the people flee and live in our areas."

Al-Habal pointed out that according to recent statistics with the council of al-Jadidat town about , 11,700 families, mostly from Deir –ez-Zor and its villages south of the Euphrates River, and from the Homs desert like Sokhna and Palmyra arrived in the area.

And added "We have collected blankets and sponge for them, but the organizations in the area are not helping them"

At the end of his speech, Darwish called on all organizations to help the displaced in the region.
