Martyrs' Families Council in al-Jazeera condemned destroying martyrs' shrines in Afrin

The Martyrs' Families Council in al-Jazeera region condemned the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries’ practices against the Kurdish people's values and Afrin's people, and it also condemned targeting the martyrs' shrines and destroying them. The council said, "We assure for the whole world that we are right holders and continue in our honorable struggle under the philosophy and approach of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan to get rid of injustice, and to construct a democratic nation."

This came in a statement issued by the Martyrs' Families Council which said,

"We in the Martyrs' Families Council in al-Jazeera region denounce in the strongest terms IS' Republic practices, represented by Erdogan's government against our values, martyrs and their shrines, and we assure to the world that we are right owners, and we would continue in the struggle under the banner of the philosophy and approach of the leader Abdullah Ocelan to escape the peoples of the area from injustice and tyranny, and establish a democratic nation based on respecting all languages and cultures, and work to construct generations that are passionate for good and humanity. In these historic difficult moments which Afrin is passing through, we appeal to all the United Nations’ Human Rights organizations to intervene immediately and stop these inhuman practices against our values and our people in Afrin.

We, in Martyrs' Families Council in al-Jazeera region, say to our people in Afrin that we are your strong fronts which will provide you with the power, will and youths because we are convinced that if the will is undermined in Afrin, this means prolonging the tyranny for another hundred years, and this is what our martyrs would not forgive us for.

We would always be guided by the leader's thought and historical saying, "History would be ours, the heart would always spring with us to continue, and we would establish our societies as cities are rebuilt.”
