Mitan: Erdogan knows that Afrin to win so he announced early elections

The director of the for Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) in the Euphrates Region Malik Mittan said, "Erdogan knows very well that the situations would not remain the same, Afrin would be liberated sooner or later, and his plans in the area would fail so he called for early elections."

In order to organize and develop the society, TEV-DEM opened its second center in Shiran district, east of Kobanî city.

Dozens of the district’s residents, directors of TEV-DEM in Sarin district and Kobanî canton, and members of municipalities and civil institutions in the canton attended the ceremony.

The opening ceremony began with holding a minute of silence. The director in TEV-DEM Malik Mittan delivered a speech in which he praised the opening of the center to all the attendees and the families of the martyrs. He added that the opening of this center is a positive step to organize and serve the society in all aspects in addition to raising the awareness of it.

The opening ceremony ended with the performance of some of the singing excerpts and verses of poems to the audience by musical bands of Baki Kheddo Center for Culture and Art.
