1st Turkmen ’s association opened in Manbij

On Wednesday, the Turkmens opened the Turkmen Association in Manbij city during a ceremony held in the public square in the center of the city in the presence of dozens of people from the Manbij city and representatives of the Civil Democratic Administration, and Manbij Military Council.

The opening ceremony was followed by holding a minute of silence. Then, the administrator in the association Fatima Khalil Turki delivered a speech and pointed out that the aim of the opening of the association is to revive the Turkmen culture and heritage in the city, as well as their mother tongue like all other components in the city to consolidate the principle of the democratic nation that aims at co-existence and peoples' fraternity.

The administrator in al-Haiya line Farida Khalil also noted that the freedom of all peoples lies in the application of the democratic nation and the elimination of authoritarian and dictatorial regimes that reject the diversity of society.

After delivering the speeches, the ceremony was concluded by cutting the opening ribbon of the assembly by Salah al-Din Bish alo, the father of the martyr Batan Turkmani on the tracks of the Arabic, Turkmen and Kurdish songs.
