Qereçox' martyrs commemorated in Dêrik
In commemoration of Qereçox' martyrs on the first anniversary of their martyrdom, the Dêrik Municipal Women's Office , the district council and municipality's members organized a visit to the graves of the martyrs where the wreaths were laid and the candles lit on their graves.

With the arrival of members to the shrine martyr Khubat Dêrik, which includes the shrines of Qereçox martyrs, they went to the shrines and put the wreaths of roses and lit the candles to commemorate them amid the chanting slogans that glorify the martyrs.
During which several speeches were delivered condemning the cowardly criminal act of the Turkish occupation, which carried out the bombing of Mount Qereçox in April25 last year by military aircraft, and stressed the continuation of the revolutionary struggle and the path and approach of the martyrs and revenge.
it is noteworthy that in 25 April 2017, the Turkish occupation army launched an air strike on Mount Qereçox, al- Bruges silos and Rojava radio station in Dêrik area, and as a result of this strike 20 fighters from the People's and Women's Protection Units martyred (YPG and YPJ) and several others injured.
