Opening school in Berxwedan camp

Large numbers of families were forced to leave their homes due to shelling of the Turkish occupation army on Afrin canton for fearing to commit genocide against them went to al-Shahab canton.  Berxwedan camp was opened in Fafin district by Autonomous Administration to reside the people despite lack of capabilities  

In order to restore the education sector and to prevent the future of a generation of children from being abandoned, the Committee of Education accelerated the democratic community to organize itself. After intensive efforts, the Committee opened a school for children in Berxwedan camp opening primary during a ceremony.

In the presence of dozens of students and their families, the opening ceremony and the administrator staff of the Committee for Democratic Community Education Sharvan Hamo and the name of Kongra Star Laila Ibash '' We congratulate the opening of this school to all students, this school will secure the future of children and will prove to the world that our children have a strong will towards learning, and are very willing to learn their mother tongue."

The inauguration also included some children deliver songs, and then the students were distributed to their classes.

At the end of the ceremony, a number of students expressed their joy at the opening of the school, stressing that no matter what happened they would not give up learning their mother tongue.

The Committee for Democratic Community Education prepared the school with its meager capabilities. The following subjects will be taught: "Sociology, Mathematics, Sport, Drawing and Music".
