Legislative Council discusses travel outside DAA areas’ law

The Legislative Council in al-Jazeera region held its regular meeting at the headquarters of the council in Amuda district on Saturday to discuss the law of travel outside areas of DAA.

The co-chair of the Legislative Council Hekam Khilo, the co-chair of the Internal Body in al-Jazeera region Kanaan Barakat, the doctor of international law and human rights and the member of the Administrative Committee of the Kurdish Institute in Paris Sêvî Îzolî, and the majority of Legislative Council's members attended the meeting.

The inspection was read by the member of the council’s divan to make sure on the quorum for convening the meeting of the council, and the council's divan then opened the discussion before the members on the draft law of travel outside the areas of the DAA by reading and discussing all its items and listening to the proposals in addition to making the necessary modifications.

After the discussion was completed, the items were clarified and the final version of the law was approved by the council, the draft law was submitted to the Joint Magistracy of al-Jazeera canton for ratifying it. Furthermore, the law would be considered effective after being ratified by Magistracy.
