People’s municipality opened in al-Kisrat

In order to meet the people’s service requirements in al-Kisrat area that is located in the southern countryside of al-Raqqa city, the people’s municipality opened on Wednesday a center in al-Kisrat area.

Hundreds of al-Raqqa people, the members of the local councils, al-Karama Municipality Council, al-Raqqa Civil Council, the people’s municipality in al-Raqqa and al-Mansourah in addition to the people’s house in al-Kisrat attended the ceremonies.

The ceremonies started with holding a minute of silence; then, several speeches that congratulated the opening of the municipality were delivered. Among the speeches delivered was the speech of the Councils’ Organizing Committee delivered by Mahmoud al-Ali who congratulated all the peoples on April 4 day, and al-Kisrat people for opening the municipality saying, “By virtue of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocelan’s thought, al-Raqqa city got liberated from Is mercenaries, and by virtue of the democratic nation project, the people of North Syria live today safely on the principle of fraternity of peoples and the co-existence.”

Sanaa al-Shebly talked in the name of the people’s municipality in al-Raqqa and congratulated the people and said, “We would work on helping our people and constructing the area in order to restore life to it again.”

While the co-chair of al-Kisrat municipality Khamis Ibrahim Ramadan said, “We promise that we would continue constructing the future Syria and the pluralistic democratic Syria, and we would work as much as possible to meet the people’s needs and requirements.”

After speeches ended, the band of the municipality’s opening was cut by the mother of the martyr Ismael al-Tabqa and the brother of the martyr Adnan al-Ahmad.

Furthermore, the opening ceremonies ended by dancing in rings with the Arabic songs.
