The Syrian Democratic Forces repelled the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries south and east of the city of Manbij. The clashes resulted in the death of 14 mercenaries and the injury of 7 others.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces revealed the outcome of the legitimate response operations against the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, south and east of Manbij on January 22.

The center confirmed in a statement that said: "14 members of the Turkish occupation mercenaries were killed during our forces' response to mercenary attacks supported by Turkish warplanes and drones on the front south and east of the city of Manbij.

During Wednesday, a group of mercenaries of the Turkish occupation tried to infiltrate the points of our forces on the Syriatel front, where our forces confronted them and killed one of the mercenaries while the rest fled.

Our forces also carried out several operations in the villages of Abu Qalqal, Tal Arsh and Qal'at Najm, killing 10 mercenaries and wounding a number of others.

Haroun's units also carried out several operations targeting gatherings of Turkish occupation mercenaries, where three mercenaries were killed and six others were wounded.

In parallel with the clashes against the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, the warplanes of the occupation bombed the villages of Bir Hasso, the Silos of Sarin, the area of the Qaraqozaq Bridge, Al-Tineh and Ja'dah, as well as the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam and the fronts south and east of Manbij, in addition to carrying out intensive artillery and missile shelling on those areas
