13 people, including woman, killed in Syria

At least 13 people were killed in separate incidents across Syria. Four of them, from the same family belonging to the "Bakkara" tribe, were executed by unidentified gunmen in the Sheikh Saeed neighborhood of Aleppo.

A young man was tortured to death in Deir Baalba, in the countryside of Homs. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that he had been arrested by the General Security forces affiliated with the Damascus authorities. Another person was shot in the head during a security campaign by Damascus authorities in the village of Al-Laqmaniya, located in the Salanfa area of Latakia countryside.

The Observatory also noted the field execution of four civilians from the same family, "Bait Mido," belonging to the "Bakkara" tribe, in the Sheikh Saeed neighborhood of Aleppo by unidentified gunmen. Additionally, another person was killed in a cafe he owned in the city of Jableh, in Latakia countryside, after being shot in the head by unidentified gunmen.

In a related incident, the body of a young man was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside his car, after he had gone missing four days earlier in the Al-Bayadah neighborhood of Homs while working on his vehicle. Two more bodies were discovered in Al-Bukamal, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. Reports indicate that the victims were a former Ba'athist regime militia leader and his nephew, both found decapitated.

In the city of Latakia, a woman was killed during a chase involving masked men on a motorcycle who had attacked a checkpoint at Andalus Roundabout. Meanwhile, a young man was killed by stray bullets during a pursuit between Damascus authority patrols and a thief on Al-Jumhuriya Street in Latakia. Additionally, a member of the General Security forces of the Damascus authorities was killed while attempting to break up a brawl among young men in the Kallaseh neighborhood of Aleppo.
