Pentagon reveals number of attacks on American forces in Syria and Iraq
A Pentagon official revealed the number of strikes that US forces have been subjected to in both Syria and Iraq since October 17.
Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said in a press conference on Tuesday that their forces “were subjected to 10 attacks in Iraq and 3 in Syria since October 17,” pointing out that “American forces have sufficient capabilities in the Middle East to confront any threat.”
Ryder pointed out that "the United States will not hesitate to take any decision related to self-defense," in light of the escalation of attacks on American forces in Iraq and Syria during the last week, coinciding with the war between Israel and the Hamas movement that controls the Gaza Strip.
