Security Forces: Mercenary arrested, another eliminated in Deir ez-Zor

The websites of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria published details of an operation carried out by their forces, the Anti-Terrorism Forces (HAT), in which they confirmed the arrest of "a member of groups affiliated with the regime forces" and the elimination of another during the clash that took place in the raid.

The site noted: “After monitoring and follow-up operations carried out by our security forces on the movements of sabotage groups funded by the Syrian regime, which are working to destabilize security and stability in our regions, targeting service facilities and sabotaging public and private property, and after collecting confirmed information and identifying, our special forces raided the place, causing clashes between our forces and the sabotage group, as a result of which our forces were able to kill one of the members, arrest another, and seize a quantity of weapons in their possession.”

The weapons and ammunition that were seized at the site of the operation were: “Kalashnikov weapons number 3, rifle number 1, rifle magazines number 12, mobile phones number 6, Thuraya satellite communication device number 1, and a sleeve number 4. 104 Kalashnikov ammunition, 2 military uniforms, 2 pistols with ammunition, 8 PKC ammunition, 28 hunting rifle ammunition.”
