​​​​​​​YPG about Afrin bombing: We have no connection with what happened

The People's Protection Units (YPG) spokesperson Nuri Mahmoud denied any connection with the bombing occurred in Afrin occupied canton on Tuesday.

Nuri Mahmoud denied the accusations leveled by the Turkish occupying state of YPG being behind the bombing.

Mahmoud said in a statement published by the media center of the People's Protection Units today, "Afrin city witnessed on Tuesday, 28 April, 2020 the explosion of a truck loaded with fuel, as reported by the media.

He added, "The accusations by some of the parties occupied Afrin; holding YPG responsible before verifying this are untrue, and we have no connection with what happened."

The Syrian Democratic Council and the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, condemned the bombing that struck the occupied canton of Afrin yesterday.
